Advisory statements

The primary addressee for our recommendations is politics. Usually, advice is given in the form of opinions on general or specific topics. The opinions are often confidential, but we try to publish the scientific findings on which they are based as quickly as possible. The Thünen Institute of Baltic Sea Fisheries provides advice not only for politicians, but also for business and environmental associations.
