Applied research with high social relevance - that's what a thesis at the Thünen Institute of Fisheries Ecology offers. Apply for a Bachelor's or Master's thesis and work on your own topic in one of our exciting projects in close co-operation with our scientists. Or join us for a compulsory internship and help us, for example, with the collection of data for our research and monitoring tasks. Please contact us and state an area of work that interests you, as well as your previous education (studies, training, practical experience and most recent certificate). For Master's and Bachelor's theses, initial supervision is usually provided by the university. Students from the following universities, among others, have already completed theses at the Thünen Institute of Fisheries Ecology:
