“Science in the City 2014” – FRV Solea moored in Copenhagen

“Science building bridges” is the slogan of this year’s science festival “Science in the city”, which takes place in Copenhagen. At the fringe of the European Open Science Forum (ESOF) conference, the festival aims at connecting scientists, delegates and public.

On Saturday, 06/14/2014, our mid-size research vessel Solea will be moored in Copenhagen center for an open ship event. Aspects of our fascinating seagoing research will be presented to the public. Scientists will be available for demonstrations and discussions until Monday 06/23/2014, when Solea will steam back to Rostock.
