Together with scientific institutions in the region, the University of Rostock is once again taking part in Science@Sail. In addition to the exhibition on maritime research at the University of Rostock and the Rostock research landscape as well as the presentation of the "Comprehensive Cancer Center", visitors can expect exciting lectures and a colorful family program as well as music until late at night:
- exhibition on sustainable maritime research in the Rostock research landscape with the Thünen Institute of Baltic Sea Fisheries
- visit the research catamaran "Limanda" of the University of Rostock
- a varied lecture program on all days, including "Uni im Rathaus" and "Rostock's Eleven",
- colorful children's and family program with knowledge quiz - take part and win a trip on the research vessel "Limanda"!
On Saturday, 10.08.2023 18.00 to 20:00 lectures of the communication competition "Rostock's Eleven" will be presented, among others with the winner Thaya M. Dinkel from the Thünen Institute of Baltic Sea Fisheries with her lecture „Ich sehe was, was du nicht siehst: Was wir mit verschiedenen Methoden über Schweinswale lernen“ (in German)
On Sunday, 11.08.2024 13.00 Carl J. Bukowski from the Thünen Institute of Baltic Sea Fisheries will talk about the „Dorsch-Dilemma: Keine Fischerei und dem Dorsch geht‘s trotzdem schlecht“ (in German)
