Fields of Activity
As a PhD student in the cod telemetry field project, I have monthly field assignments where I tag fish, collect data and carry out maintenance work on our underwater receiver network with our vessels CLUPEA and BELONE. In addition to field work, I analyse these obtained data and carry out statistical tests using R software.
Research interest
I study the ecology of western Baltic cod using acoustic telemetry and data storage tags.
In combination with high-resolution oceanographic data of the Baltic Sea, I link fish behaviour and environmental factors to gain new insights into the behaviour of cod under rapidly changing environmental conditions.
Scientific career
