The adaptation strategies vary: some focus on risk diversification and the establishment of new sources of income, others want to grow or switch from full-time to part-time farming. This is increasingly leading to a reduction of the model of "one family - one farm as a livelihood". The increasing structural diversity has so far only been incompletely reflected in agricultural statistics.
In order to better understand how agricultural entrepreneurs are strategically positioning themselves for the future, the Thünen Institute is now launching a scientific online survey and is asking for participation. Based on the survey results, it would be possible to provide better and more targeted policy advice and design.
The survey will take about 20 minutes. The results will be made available to you.
