HORIZON-CL6-2023-GOVERNANCE-01 (Innovative governance, environmental observations and digital solutions in support of the Green Deal)Topic: HORIZON-CL6-2023-GOVERNANCE-01-14

The livestock sector faces substantial sustainability challenges across social, economic and environmental realms. Digi4Live´s goal is to help the European Livestock sector leverage digital technologies and data to benefit farmers and food and technology businesses and smoothen public administration.

Background and Objective

The overall goal of Digi4 (Digital, data-driven solutions for livestock tracking) is to highlight the potential of and elaborate on concepts for upscaling of data-based solutions for livestock tracking within EU and for trade with third countries and international level focussing on poultry and pig production. This will enable Digi4Live to bring together key stakeholders from the public and private domains to implement promising solutions and to share data, in order to fully explore and exploit synergies of public private collaboration.
Digi4Live aims to develop an enhanced data sharing strategy that will serve as a support tool for policy-makers, farmers and public administration facilitating the development of improved standards and harmonized practices making data sharing and wider exploitation easier.

Approach

1) To agree on a common set of economic, social and environmental indicators together wirth partners from WPs 2, 3, 5 and 6.

2) Evaluation of the potential economic impacts of wider uptake of the project’s approaches & solutions, incl. administra-tive costs & affordability

3) Evaluation of the potential environmental impacts of wider uptake of the project’s approaches
