At the Britz intensive monitoring site, we record ground vegetation and carry out bioacoustic surveys. This enables us to comprehensively record the flora and fauna on the site. We identify and search for indicators that are meaningful for certain species (groups) and analyze how land use affects biological diversity. A high level of biodiversity at a site is very important for an intact, species-rich and efficient ecosystem.
