The Regional Development Cooperation (REK) Weserbergland+ organizes an annual conference on topics of regional cooperation with representatives from politics, business and science. This year’s conference took place on August 7, 2024 in Nienburg. In addition to welcoming the guests and commenting on the goals and progress of the REK by the district administrators, there were scientific guest lectures and future workshops from the districts of Schaumburg, Nienburg, Hameln-Pyrmont and Holzminden. Ann Hipp and Alexander Kopka commented on the concept of the newly founded future forum "zedita" in Hameln-Pyrmont from a scientific perspective and entered into an exchange with the people involved and interested parties. We would like to thank them for the invitation and look forward to future exchanges.
