The task of the "Start-up" advisory board is to provide technical and strategic support on the topic of start-ups at the RKW Competence Center. The chairman is Dr. Evers from the German Chamber of Industry and Commerce. The second advisory board meeting this year focused on start-ups in rural areas. Christian Hundt contributed a keynote speech on this topic, outlining the extent and causes of the empirically observable differences between urban and rural start-ups. The subsequent discussion focused on the justification and objectives with which economic policy should and may steer regional start-up activity.
