The Conference on „Soil Biota driven Ecosystem Services in European Agriculture“ will be held from Tuesday, 22nd October to Wednesday, 23rd October 2019 at the Thünen Institute in Braunschweig (Germany). The conference is an output of the SoilMan project (www.soilman.eu), commonly organized by the Thünen Institutes of Biodiversity and Market Analysis, the University of Göttingen and the Agrocampus Ouest.
We will welcome keynotes from Prof. Lijbert Brussaard (Wageningen University, Netherlands) and Prof. Katharina Helming (ZALF, Germany).
Presentations will be given on the following themes:
- Soil biodiversity as a companion for farmers
- Soil biota driven ecosystem services as a societal value
- Future opportunities for soil biota preservation in agriculture
