In this article, scientists of the Thünen Institute of Rural Studies, the university of Hamburg, and the Institute of Sociology of the Czech Academy of Sciences describe their mixed methods approach. It combines interview data with GPS tracking data of the interview partners in order to better analyse their mobility behaviour in daily life.
