Further development of non-invasive sampling strategies for benthic communities by eDNA analyses in the German Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) of the North Sea.

  • 2021-2023: Research associate and PhD student at the German Centre for Marine Biodiversity Research (DZMB), Senckenbeg am Meer, Wilhelmshaven. Topic: Ophiuroid phylogenomics: Illuminating dark abyssal biodiversity (DFG SPP 1991 ‘Taxon-OMICS’).

  • 2020-2021: Research associate at the German Centre for Marine Biodiversity Research (DZMB), Senckenbeg am Meer, Wilhelmshaven. Focus: Creation and maintenance of a DNA reference database

  • 2014-2020: Study of biology at the Universities of Frankfurt (B.Sc.) and Oldenburg (M.Sc.), specialising in general biology, molecular biology and marine biology
