The KIDA-KON took place on December 2 and 3 at the German Biomass Research Center (DBFZ) in Leipzig. Here, work focusing on the use of artificial intelligence for research in the fields of food, agriculture and the environment was presented. Stakeholders from scientific and governmental sector were brought together. Dr. Andrea Olbrich, together with Markus Rauhut from the Fraunhofer Institute for Industrial Mathematics ITWM, our project partner, presented the poster with the results of the blind test for automated wood species identification in fiber materials using machine learning.
