The status conference on ‘Peat reduction in horticulture’ took place in Berlin from 19-20 March. Experts from research and practice, decision-makers and other stakeholders discussed the progress already made and the challenges of peat reduction in horticulture.
At the Market of Opportunities, Fokko Schütt presented results on the influence of temperature during the defibration of various raw materials on product properties. These and other results from the HoFaTo project met with lively interest from the audience and were the subject of much discussion.
