With her studies in bioinformatics (focus on genome research) at the universities of Bielefeld and Hamburg Stephanie Wrage has just arrived in the world of wood research. She will be involved in the KI_Wood-ID project to help develop an Artificial Intelligence for automated wood species determination. This project aims to identify wood in paper and fibers more quickly and to strengthen trade in legal raw materials.
