Renewable raw materials (NawaRo) as insulating materials are a healthy and ecological alternative to conventional materials. However, their name recognition and market share are still low.StaR-Dämm combines research and politics through technical discussions in order to promote forward-looking solutions for energy-efficient renovation.
Background and Objective
In the project StaR-Dämm, opportunities and strategies for an improved use of renewable raw materials in insulation measures are to be discussed and worked out with research, practice and politics.
Approach
StaR-Dämm is jointly implemented by the Environmental Action Germany and the Thünen Institute for Wood Research.
By means of specialist dialogues, expert discussions and public relations, we discuss and strengthen the role of insulation building products from renewable raw materials in the market.
