How to find Großhansdorf

The Thünen Insitute of Forest Genetics is located in Grosshansdorf to the north of Hamburg (Sieker Landstraße 2, Tel.: +49 4102 696 0).

Autobahn A 1, Exit Ahrensburg.

Coming from the south: Turn right, and then immediately right again into the Sieker Landstraße.

Coming from the north: Turn right, then turn left into the Sieker Landstraße.

Hamburg-Hauptbahnhof, take the U-Bahn (Underground) (Line U1, towards Großhansdorf) to the Ahrensburg Ost station. The travel time with the Underground is about 40 minutes.

Ahrensburg train station, from there with the Bus Line 269 (towards Ahrensburg, Am Kratt or Dänenweg) exit at Am Aalfang bus stop, or take Line 369 (towards Vorburg, Trittau), exit at Am Aalfang bus stop. The travel time is about four minutes.
