Research Prize
In recognition of outstanding scientific achievement, the GdF has awarded the GdF Young Scientist Prize and the GdF Research Prize every two years since 1993. Due to the restructuring and re-establishment of the Thünen Institute, no prizes were awarded between 2006 and 2009.
The GdF has continued to honour outstanding scientific performance with a prize. The GdF Research Prize was awarded for the first time on 6 December 2010.
