- Strategies to reduce bycatch of protected, endangered and threatened species (PET species): harbor porpoises (Phocoena phocoena) and elasmobranchs (Mediterranean Sea and Atlantic Ocean)
- Collection of fishing effort data in data-limited fisheries
- Exchange with fisheries stakeholders and participatory management (co-management)

2020 – 2021 Research Fellowship at the national Italian Institute Stazione Zoologica Anton Dohrn in the LIFE-ELIFE Project to reduce the impact of fishing on cartilaginous fish (sharks and rays) in the Mediterranean Sea.
