Member of the German delegation was again Dr. Jobst Michael Schröder, scientist at the Thünen Institute of International Forestry and Forest Economics. Due to the different time zones of the member countries the daily meetings were limited to four hours. Under the assumption that the Corona pandemic can be overcome soon, an additional physical Council Meeting is planned for end of March 2021 in Yokohama, Japan.
Additionally Dr. Schröder participated as evaluator in ITTO’s Fellowship Programme for which he was nominated by BMEL in 2019. All six proposals he had evaluated received funding as applied.
