The German television channel NDR tested in its magazine MARKT (broadcasted on November 9, 2020) how good the advice was when buying FSC-certified decking boards in the DIY stores OBI, Bauhaus and Hornbach.

Within the testing team: Ulrich Bick, forestry scientist and certification expert from the Thünen Institute of International Forestry and Forest Economics. The conclusion: both the presentation of the goods and the advice provided by the sales staff varied greatly and was not always at its best.
