Dr. Heinz Stichnothe - "new" staff member

Since October, the transfer of Heinz Stichnothe from the Institute of Agricultural Technology to the Institute of Forestry has become permanent.

Heinz Stichnothe has been working at the Thünen Institute since 2009 with a focus on sustainability assessment of bio-based systems; within this time period he was chair of the Steering Committee for Life Cycle Assessment of SETAC Europe and national representative at the IEA Bioenergy Task 42 (Biorefining in a Circular Economy).

At the Institute of Forestry, Heinz Stichnothe will support the work of the Fields of Activity Forests and Society, Sustainability, and contribute to the CarbonLeak project.
