Member of the German delegation was Dr. Jobst Michael Schroeder, scientist at the Thünen Institute of International Forestry and Forest Economics who was also chairing the sessions of ITTO’s Committee on Reforestation and Forest Management. ITTO’s new Guidelines for Forest Landscape Restoration in the Tropics and the ITTO Environmental and Social Risks Guidelines could be adopted under his chairmanship.
