36 participants from Germany, Italy, Poland, Slovenia, Czech Republic, Ecuador, Austria, Croatia, Finland, Serbia, Switzerland and the United Kingdom attended the scientific meeting "Managerial forest economics and accounting as a base for decision making in a changing world".
The focus of the meeting was on scientific exchange in several lecture sessions. In addition, the foreign guests were, during an excursion, introduced to the support of private forest management by the Lower Saxony Chamber of Agriculture as well as to aspects of nature conservation management of the Lüneburg Heath in the context of climate change.
