During the session “Harnessing Earth Observation for (Environmental) Due Diligence” hosted by BGR (German Federal Institute for Geosciences and Natural Resources) at the OECD Forum of Responsible Mineral Supply Chains on May 22,2024 in Paris, France, Mr. Lippe also discussed possibilities and limitations when using satellite-derived information for land use and forest mapping in relation of the new regulation of deforestation-free products (EUDR "EU Deforestation Regulation").
