In collaboration with the German Embassy in Buenos Aires and the Agricultural Policy Dialogue of the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture, as well as with Argentine ministries and associations, Dr. Richard Fischer presented the new EU regulation on deforestation-free supply chains in Argentina. In visits to authorities and associations, as well as in workshops in Buenos Aires, Cordoba and Rosario, methods of implementation, effects on Argentine agriculture and European consumers were discussed and possibilities for future cooperations were explored.
