The analysis of specific methodological aspect in the project wood resources monitoring results in a new publication. Objective of the analysis was to explore the residence times of felled timber in forest storage in forest enterprises after severe storm events.


Since October, Dr. Paola Pozo Inofuentes is member of our team of research scientists in the ‘Forests and Society’ department.


This study explores what drives household deforestation decisions in the lowland rainforest frontiers, with emphasis on the institutional environment (conservation strategies, titling, and governmental grants for poverty alleviation) and the quality of forest resources (timber volume potential).
