Dominik Frankenberg, a researcher at the Thuenen Institute of Rural Economics, has been awarded the Carl Goerdeler Prize 2022 for his dissertation on function-related need measurement in municipal fiscal equalization.
Jan Cornelius Peters, a researcher at the Thünen Institute of Rural Economics, was elected by the members of the Gesellschaft für Regionalforschung (GfR) as scientific secretary to the GfR board on Feb. 16, 2022.
