Marlen Brinkord – new staff member

Since the commencement of March, Marlen Brinkord has joined our working area Forestry in Germany as a research assistant.

Marlen Brinkord is currently involved in the "Incentive effects, acceptance and climate effectiveness of different reward options for climate protection in forestry (AnAKHon)" project, where she focuses on forest economic simulation of climate protection measures using the Forest Economic Simulation Model (FESIM). Her work also involves simulating different remuneration systems while considering the nationwide land potential and the willingness of forest owners to implement single payment measures and bundles of measures.

Marlen Brinkord has completed her Bachelor's (B.Sc.) degree in Forest Sciences and Forest Ecology and her Master's degree in Forest Ecosystem Sciences with a specialisation in Ecosystem Analysis and Modelling from the Georg-August-University of Göttingen. Prior to joining our team, she worked for the last two years at DFUV - Deutsches Netzwerk der Forstunternehmen und Forsttechnik e.V.
