Ulrike Saal - new staff member

Since April 1st, Ulrike Saal is a new team member in the department “Wood markets“. She will be working within the project Systemic Wood Resource Monitoring, focussing on continuation aspects.

Before joining the team, Ulrike Saal was working at the University of Hamburg in the Institute of Wood Science, department of Economics of Forest Products with Prof. Dr. U. Mantau.

She holds a M.Sc. in Agriculture and Forestry from the University of Helsinki with focus on Forest Products Marketing as well as an Engineering Degree in Wood Technology from the Eberswalde University of Sustainable Development, Eberswalde.

In addition to teaching activity, she was involved in different national and international research projects e.g. EUwood, EFSOS II, StarTree and Wood Resource Monitoring.
